Event Description
A Govfest showcase featuring six great bands!
Govfest brings together hundreds of artists, artisans, musicians, and volunteers from across the province of Ontario. The event has massive exposure; the main events are in Toronto, but there is also a musical showcase in Kingston!!
After a very successful event in 2025, we are excited to once again be putting on the Govfest musical showcase here in Kingston! This is an exciting opportunity to showcase some amazing Kingston musical talent while raising money for charities! I am excited to announce that the 7th annual Kingston Govfest will take place on Saturday, November 14 at the Buckle, 226 Princess Street, Kingston (beside the Grand Theatre). Doors open at 5 pm and music starts at 6 pm and runs until 12 am. Come early and join us for dinner and stick around for a full night of music and fun with friends!
There are six bands this year ranging in style from country to folk rock to 90’s alternative to classic rock! After a very successful return last year we are very excited to showcase some of Kingston’s best musical talent at a wonderful venue that has excellent food and service and has quickly gained a reputation as Kingston’s best live music getaway!
The money raised through Govfest Kingston specifically is used to fund the local KFL&A United Way, which supports a wide range of local community projects and provides support systems for vulnerable community members. In addition, 50% of the proceeds from Govfest in total are used to fund the Ryan’s Well Foundation, which works to provide sustainable, consistent access to safe drinking water in some of most in need developing regions world-wide. Thank you for your support of these charities and of live music and Kingston’s top live music venue!
