Multi-Feature Night at the VFMS - Three for the price of one!
Dale Dickson: Born in the wilds of Edmonton, Dale wisely followed his family when they moved to Victoria. Since picking up his first guitar at eighteen, he’s never looked back! A singer and fingerstyle-guitarist, Dale performed solo and in party bands into the early 2000s. Nowadays he prefers softer, folky-style tunes to rockers and may surprise us tonight with one or two of his own compositions!
Group Therapy features Kathy & Al Planiden and Linda & Eric James, folks who have been neighbours in East Sooke for over 40 years and have played music together in various formations for almost as long. Drawing from various genres, including Folk, Country, and Rock’n’Roll, Group Therapy has become a VFMS favourite on the open stage!
Tyler James Johnson Duo: This Victoria-based guitarist and songwriter’s passion for music was ignited at the age of twelve when he discovered his father’s extensive record collection! Over the years, Tyler has performed with multiple artists and bands as well as a solo artist with heartfelt compositions and impressive guitar-playing. Tyler is joined tonight by Nancy Grossert, herself a true talent on the fiddle!
