Event Description
Gunita ng Pag-ibig: Memories of Love is a concert by the Bayanihan Creative Collective’s Himig Pilipino Choir, bringing together songs that remind us of the people, places, and moments we carry in our hearts.
Some songs stay with us for years. A familiar melody can bring back a family gathering, a quiet evening at home, a first love, a goodbye, or the voice of someone we miss. Through these songs, we remember where we came from and the stories that continue to live within us.
The evening also brings together local leaders, families, friends, and community organizations in support of raising funds for a new Bayanihan Community Centre, envisioned to serve the needs of our growing Filipino Canadian community.
And when the singing ends, the evening continues around the table — with dinner, conversation, and the simple joy of being together.
An evening of songs remembered, love shared, and memories carried home.
