Friday, November 6th (730pm) – vibraphonist Nick Apivor, pianist Attila Fias, bassist Dan Howard
Concerts start at 7:30pm (doors at 7:00pm)

Strikingly sonorous is vibraphonist Nick Apivor on jazz both within & beyond its main streams—as is pianist Attila Fias, who joins for this special concert (with Dan Howard, bass).

Nick Apvior: "Of the 'many hats' that I wear as a musician—on vibraphone, percussion, and keyboards across many styles of music—I so enjoy intimate vibes & piano gigs. To project our instruments' subtleties & surprises to listening audiences is very special. Attila & I, while both professionals often playing in others' traditional projects, each have eclectic tastes in our jazz: mine often leaning variously Latin, but also influenced by prog- & jazz-rock; Attila's often via Brazil, but also deeply European, very schooled, yet very visceral. Bassist Dan Howard bring his maturity of playing and breadth of sensitivities."

Befitting FURNISHING JAZZ’s jazz bar vibe, and thanks to generous sponsors, wine, a signature cocktail, and Sirene chocolate will be available for purchase.
