Event Description
The world of Isabella and The Sprouts is an introspective, tender, and sincere one. Their live sets are filled with emotive lyrics, the occasional story and sing-alongs. Although the band members are scattered around BC, The close bond of the Sprouts is reflected through harmonies and instrumentation in a style inspired by the folk revival of the 60s.
Dawson was pushed towards music through free reign of his aunt's iTunes library, which was filled with classic rock and bootlegs. After years of obsessing over Beatles songs, and moving to Boston to give Berklee College of Music a try—only to drop out—he decided to make Vancouver, Canada home. He has flourished there, combining his appreciation for Canadian stars, like Shania Twain and Neil Young, with his love for alternative artists like Arthur Russel and Grouper.
