Event Description
Mad Routine is a duo consisting of producer/vocalist Vanessa Novak (Victoria, BC) and producer/vocalist Cole Edwards. They describe their music as 90’s trip-hop influenced alternative rock with a bit of nu-metal sprinkled in. They spend most of their time together in Victoria recording music videos and making new tunes. Their sound combines elements from the best in alternative music (think Linkin Park, Evanescence, Massive Attack) and reinvents it to make new classics. Both members are career musicians. Cole is a multi instrumentalist and V has been a vocalist for over 15 years. They are fully independent! They write, record, produce and mix everything themselves and currently have 3 EPs out as well as multiple singles. This event will be their first ever album release party with a chance to hear some of the new songs performed live for the first time. The event includes a brand new merch drop for signing (all clothing & jewelry items hand-made by V & C using fully second-hand materials) and a fan meet and greet!
