Born and raised in Mayfield, PEI, Morgan started writing songs at the age of eighteen in Charlottetown. In college, he used to sneak out on school nights to host and perform at open mics across the city. Wearing his love of music on his sleeve, Morgan took jobs to stay connected to the community including doorman where he was frequently invited on stage to provide backup vocals with live bands.
Today Morgan enjoys bringing people together with sets that make you feel! He can usually be found weaving stories through famous songs while sailing as crew on private vessels along the north Atlantic or in pubs at ports along the way. The genres he brings to the stage come from his East Coast roots including music from the Maritimes and Canadiana, as well as folk, country, and rock. His influences include Ron Hynes, Stan Rogers, and Great Big Sea. Welcome to the west coast, Morgan!
