The Fine Options have to be one of the finest bands in Victoria! The show was amazing. The don't need fire or smoke or anything of the sort because they simply ROCK OUT! If you have never seen them play then get on it! I always cringe when someone tries to describe a band's sound by comparing it to another so I won't. But I will say that if you like music that gallops like a pack of wild stallions then go see this band. I bet they will be the next band to "blow up" out the Victoria scene. They have a sound that (I think) evokes a late 70's and sometimes 80's flavour and it is evident that the band loves to play. And they are also extremely tight. I hope they come out with a CD so I can crank their wattage in my cottage. I was not too crazy about 68 comeback special. They are definately good musicians but I think they need to find a frontman with a strong voice. - Sun, 23 Feb 2003 4:31pm

The Options do indeed rock the fucking house.... I didn't see them on Saturday (I caught them with Wooly Mammoth on Friday, another great band), but in the 5 or 6 times I've seen them, they have always showed up with the rock.... Even if their amps haven't.... - Tue, 25 Feb 2003 11:47pm

THE 68 COMEBACK SPECIAL ROCK!!!!!!!!!
they do, yah the singer was wicked sick, but they still rocked, i dont know what that guy up there was talking about, fine options have huge egos and for what reason? they really were repetative and i thought sucked a great deal of ass.
id like to see the 68 comeback special play more often, they have a great energy and the singer/drummer is a hot chunk of ass. - Mon, 3 Mar 2003 9:33pm
