| BeatUpAcoustic User Info... | Hey, We have a 2 piece so far. We both play a bit of everything from guitar to drums to bass to a few synths and electronic gadgets. We aren't professionals but you should have a decent ear and be able to pick out a note by listening to it. Our music tastes vary... TV On The Radio, Fleet Foxes, Bloody Beetroots, Mogwai, Atmosphere, Minus The Bear, Pretty Lights, Feed Me! (With Teeth), Miami Horror, Bon Iver, Black Keys, Chromeo, USS, Deathcab, Daft Punk, Girl Talk, Silversun Pickups, M83, Neon Indian, USS, Empire Of The Sun, Star F*cker, Metric, Neil Young....all of those and more in a blender! We are looking for someone that has experience with hardware synths, and maybe some sampling experience. It would also be sweet if you could at least get by enough to contribute ideas on another instrument. Bass, strings, percussion, horns, voice, anything really.. We have a spot to write and rehearse and we have medium to pro-level gear. You should have some gear and wheels. I know we are asking a lot but we are coming up with some amazing stuff and we are going to start testing out live soon and we need someone that will grow with us and challenge us musically. We don't do drugs and we don't drink when we're working on our music. We have 2-3 songs we will record soon and put up on youtube. We have a bunch more ideas we are still piecing together. Sorry for the long-winded post but I just want anyone potentially interested to have a decent picture of what moves us and what we're about. We want to make awesome music that we can enjoy and hopefully someone else will enjoy as well. We both have jobs and lives but music remains a big factor.
